DESCRIPTION:Applying for Grants: What Small Businesses Need to Know!\n Guest Speaker Robyn Baker\nThis straight talk session is designed for small businesses and founders who want to know whether grants are actually worth pursuing \nYou’ll see grants through the assessor’s lens: how applications are scored\, why most small businesses are ruled out early\, and what funders are really looking for beyond the application form. \nYou’ll identify the missing pieces that quietly block success — systems\, evidence\, documentation\, and strategy — and learn how to prepare before a grant opens\, instead of scrambling at the deadline. \nMost importantly\, you’ll walk away with a clear\, practical action plan: what to fix now\, what to build next\, and which funding paths actually make sense for your business. \n  \nIf you’ve ever thought “grants aren’t for businesses like mine” — this session will tell you if that’s true… and what to do about it. \n*Bookings close Friday 13th March at midnight  \nAbout our Guest Speaker\n \nRobyn Baker has over 40 years of experience in Grant and Tender applications and with her team can provide expert strategic advice for success.
