Jacasta Berry BA (Hons), GAICD, MICDA, Certified Chair™ is Founder and Director of Australian Multilingual Services, established in 2004.

Educated across Australia, France and the United Kingdom, Jacasta has worked across Europe, South East Asia, Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific. Her earlier career was in international film, media and advertising publishing, including daily publications associated with the Cannes Film Festival and Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Anthropology and South East Asian Studies from SOAS University of London and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Member of the Institute of Community Directors Australia and Advisory Board Centre Certified Chair™.

Her experience spans strategy, governance, multilingual and cross-cultural communication, organisational transformation, sustainability, social impact and innovation. She is particularly interested in the intersection of governance, AI, sustainability and inclusive communication.

Australian Multilingual Services (AMLS) is an Australian-owned language and multicultural communication company established in 2004. As a NAATI Endorsed Language Service Provider, we support government, businesses, professional organisations and communities with trusted multilingual services across more than 150 languages.

Our services include NAATI-certified document translation, business and technical translation, localisation, interpreting, conference interpreting, multilingual typesetting, voice-over, dubbing, subtitling and audiovisual production. We also provide multicultural strategy and advisory services, helping organisations communicate effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse audiences, workforces and international markets.

AMLS has a long history of supporting Queensland organisations and international engagement. We were a partner of the 2019 Queensland Export Awards and have worked closely with Trade and Investment Queensland, together with numerous Queensland Government agencies and organisations.

With a network of more than 500 language professionals, we combine specialist linguistic expertise, cultural understanding and responsive project management. Our clients span government, healthcare, legal, education, finance, technology, resources, corporate and not-for-profit sectors.

From a certified document or interpreter booking to an international conference, multilingual campaign or ongoing organisational language program, we provide solutions tailored to each client’s audience, purpose and requirements. We support clients throughout Queensland, across Australia and internationally.
