November Event Recap – The Economic Benefits of the Olympic Games with Deputy Lord Mayor Krista Adams

At Novemer’s breakfast meeting, we were pleased to host Brisbane City Council Deputy Lord Mayor Krista Adams as our guest speaker. Krista was recently appointed the Civic Cabinet Chair for Economic Development and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Committee.
She spoke energetically about this role and in particular on the future for Brisbane and how our region is looking very promising. Krista provided attendees with insights on:
- Future Economic development of Mt Gravatt region
- New horizons opening through Olympic Games in SE Qld in 2032
- Update on Brisbane Metro Project linking Eight Mile Plains to Roma St by 2024
It was a captivating event especially emphasizing the opportunities for local businesses that lie ahead.
